Your role and responsibilities This role will design and develop Appian solutions. This will include: • Implementing end to end process automation using Appian and other intelligent automation technologies
• Performing code reviews for Appian developers
• Conducting root cause analysis for Appian outages
• Restoring Appian services in the event of an outage
• Developing Appian based solutions using all object types available in Appian.
• Integrating with external applications using REST and SOAP based APIs.
• Developing Appian plugins (Java)
• Updating Appian plugins for security vulnerabilities
• Reviewing Application performance and suggest improvements
• Reviewing Environment performance, provide recommendations on sizing, and identify resource needs prior to bottlenecks Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise * Appian Certified Senior Developer with 3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience in senior/lead roles supporting production applications.
* 1+ years of experience developing Appian plugins and 1 year managing an onpremise Appian production environment.
* 2+ years of experience configuring and debugging Appian interfaces, reports, underlying logic, and system integrations.
* 2+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL scripting supporting large-scale, businesscritical systems.
* 2+ years of experience designing and implementing SOAP and REST APIs, with strong understanding of broader technology ecosystems and Agile SDLC practices (3+ years).
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance. Preferred technical and professional experience * Federal & Technical Architecture Experience: 2+ years supporting software development projects in a Federal environment, with experience defining and documenting architectures across multiple architectural views.
* Technical Development & Infrastructure: 1 year of Java experience, familiarity with Appian for Kubernetes, NoSQL databases, cloud resource management, and application performance optimization.
* Professional & Interpersonal Skills: Strong analytical and technical abilities paired with excellent written/verbal communication and collaborative teamwork/facilitation skills.
