Job Summary:
Marathon TS is seeking a Software Developer to sit at Knolls Atomic Laboratory in Schenectady, NY. The role involves performing software development tasks to support the declassification review of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program records and providing development for declassification and records review software applications.
Responsibilities:
• Perform software development tasks to support declassification review of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) records in accordance with Executive Order 13526 requirements.
• Provide software development to the declassification and records review software applications (NDAMS/FACTS)
• Responsible for conduct of requirements analyses, development of functional and software specifications, coding, testing and deploying software
• Write reports and specifications, architectural plans and determines software releases with user community
• Use Capability Maturity Model methodologies for documented trail of features/bug fixes
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience in related field (i.e., IT Support, help desk)
• Knowledge of Navy terminology, computer familiarity and MS office
• Must be able to maintain a Top Secret or DOE 'Q' clearance for the position
