The Account Opening and Maintenance Core Production Group is responsible for developing, supporting, and modernizing the critical applications that enable the creation, servicing, and maintenance of brokerage and deposit accounts across the Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) organization. This team delivers highly available, secure, and compliant technology solutions that support the full account lifecycle, from new account onboarding and customer due diligence to ongoing account maintenance and regulatory compliance. Working at the intersection of business, technology, and operations, the organization drives digital transformation initiatives, application modernization, cloud migration, and platform resiliency efforts while ensuring a seamless experience for financial advisors, operations teams, and customers. The team plays a vital role in supporting business growth, operational excellence, and risk management for one of the firm's most critical client-facing platforms.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Java full stack Software Engineering experience building UI, APIs and backend solutions
  • 4+ years of Java Version 8 and later functional programming experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
  • 2+ years of experience working on BPM products
  • 2+ years of Java unit test case development experience
  • 2+ years of experience in automated unit and functional code testing
  • 2+ years of experience in development of UI with MVC, Web Forms, Angular and/or ReactJS

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with AI tools and technology
  • Knowledge of OpenShift Cloud Platform and Harness for deployments
  • Experience with SDLC tools and processes including GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven or Gradle to manage CICD
