Mid-Level Java Developer
Location:
Colorado Springs, CO (on-site)

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Java Developer to support a federal client in developing modern web and backend applications for mission-critical credentialing and case management systems.

In this role, you will help design and implement enterprise software solutions that support secure federal operations. Working within a collaborative Agile development environment, you will contribute to building next-generation customer engagement platforms used by federal service agencies.

Responsibilities

As a Mid-Level Java Developer, you will:

  • Design and develop enterprise web and backend applications using Java and Spring-based REST APIs
  • Build and maintain modern user interfaces using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions
  • Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines
  • Utilize modern development tools such as Git, Eclipse, and JUnit to support application development and testing
  • Support the design, integration, and deployment of applications within large-scale federal IT systems
  • Maintain documentation for software components, architecture, and development processes
Schedule & Shift Details
  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • On-site support Tuesday through Thursday in Colorado Springs, CO (required)
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active, fully adjudicated DoD Secret Security Clearance required
  • Minimum of 4+ years experience developing enterprise applications using Java
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git
  • Minimum of 2+ years recent experience developing applications using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java

Demonstrated Advanced experience with:
