Job description

  • Lead threat modeling for assigned features and components, partnering on complex or cross-cutting architectures
  • Perform secure code reviews, manual application security testing, and penetration testing
  • Triage and validate product vulnerabilities, assess severity and impact, and drive fixes to closure
  • Build and maintain automation and tooling to improve security processes
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend tooling or process improvements
  • Document findings and guidance clearly
  • Collaborate with developers to strengthen secure development practices across the product portfolio
  • Ramp up on assigned products, architecture, development toolchain, and release process
  • Own routine security work end to end and contribute automation or process improvements
  • Report to the Director of Product Security and take direction from the Manager of Application Security
  • Work with security engineers, product managers, and developers
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in application security, or software engineering with a demonstrated focus on security
  • Solid knowledge of common application security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques
  • Hands‑on manual secure code review and application security testing experience
  • Ability to read source code and identify vulnerabilities beyond scanner output
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Java or C++
  • Ability to reason about production code
  • Ability to independently own well-scoped security work and deliver reliably
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate within a team
  • Exposure to multiple security domains such as application, system, cloud, or mobile preferred
