Job description

Software Engineer (Java)
Our client, an education services company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join their team, hit the ground running, and help drive to success. This will be a permanent position. The employee will work remotely until COVID restrictions are lifted. Their office is in Glen Allen, VA.
Snapshot of the client:

  • Building and perfecting a product that helps universities and colleges attract and retain students and engage alumni.

What will you do?
  • Full stack development in Java, Angular or React preferred.
  • Will participate in design/architecture, complete new development along with supporting the existing product (providing enhancements and new features)
  • Work alongside a very talented and well respected technology team!

Required Skills
  • At least 3 years of Java development experience.Various levels of positions from 3-10+ years of experience.
  • Experience with Angular/React or similar frameworks and technologies
  • Interest in cloud technology, AWS preferred
  • Experience with Agile development methods, especially Scrum
  • Experience delivering and maintaining software
