Job Summary:
Alpha Consulting Corp. is a dynamic team located in McLean, VA, focused on financial technology innovation. They are seeking a Senior Java React Developer to design and build responsive UIs and develop scalable Spring Boot RESTful APIs, contributing to high-impact financial analysis applications.
Responsibilities:
• Design and build responsive, performant UIs in React (TypeScript preferred) that allow users to configure, run, and visualize results across multiple security types.
• Architect and develop scalable Spring Boot RESTful APIs and services that integrate with multiple upstream data sources and analytics systems.
• Coordinate across the full stack, including data, services, APIs, and infrastructure, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5 years of professional software development experience, with strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem (REST APIs, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, etc.).
• 3 years of hands-on React development experience, including component architecture, state management (Redux, Zustand, or React Query), and API integration.
• 2–3 years of experience with Git in a collaborative, team-based development workflow (branching strategies, PRs, code reviews).
• 1–2 years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman).
• Prior work experience in financial services, capital markets, or fintech environments.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred:
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Familiarity with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with message brokers or event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ) in a financial services context.
