Job description

Technical Project Manager

UST is looking for a seasoned technical project manager with proven experience in managing complex programs involving multi-skilled resources across various countries and successfully delivery outcome as per schedule. Mandatory skills include technical project management, stakeholder management, people management, and family in running complex IT software development and support projects. Mandatory tools/tech background include JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, MS Project, and familiarity with modern technology stacks (Java, Cloud platforms, APIs, Kafka, Cassandra, Pub-Sub, DevOps practices).

The right candidate should have 8+ years of program/project management experience, with at least 6 years managing technology-focused initiatives and should have demonstrated experience in:

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of technical programs across domains in retail, eCommerce, or supply chain technology programs
  • Defining and managing program scope, objectives, roadmaps, and measurable success criteria in partnership with business and technical stakeholders
  • Conducting Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release management
  • Partnering with engineering, architecture, and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions
  • Acting as a single point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders and providing regular status, evaluating issues and risks and dependencies
  • Ensuring adherence of the project to refined IT standards, security, compliance, and governance requirements
  • Risk, issue, stakeholder, and dependencies management
  • Tracking and reporting key delivery metrics (velocity, quality, cost, and productivity)
  • Continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives, including automation and AI-based productivity tools
