Job description

Athenix Solutions Group is looking for multiple Java Software Developers in Annapolis Junction, MD. The developers will support a variety of projects to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems assisting in the defense of our nation. We have roles for Developers to work individually or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
  • Software development of new or enhancement of existing capabilities predominately using Java
  • Provide Tier III Support for deployed capabilities and address bug fixes
  • Test and debug software code for network connected systems/ integrated applications
  • Collaborate with a team of Software and Systems engineers in an Agile environment to analyze requirements, derive user stories, track issues, and create user documentation for development planning
  • Provide status and update tickets
  • Perform full-stack software development predominantly using Java to create and implement enhancements to existing capabilities
  • Perform integration and testing as needed

Requirements
  • Active Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
  • Experience with Enterprise Java development
  • Experience developing service-oriented architectures
  • Experience developing micro service solutions
  • Database experience such as Mongo or MySQL
  • Knowledge of parameters and values represented in cellular communications
  • Experience with JMS
  • Experience developing scalable solutions, applicable to both large- and small-scale platforms
