Our summer internships are full-time (40 hours/week), paid positions lasting 10-11 weeks. We offer competitive compensation, educational and social programming throughout the summer,as well ashousingassistanceand relocation support for eligible interns.

Engineering roles in the Quality engineering group can include Quality, Supplier Quality and Reliability Engineers. Examples of work in each of these areas are listed below.

Quality Engineer

• Develops,modifies,appliesandmaintainsquality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.

• Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.

Supplier Quality Engineer

• Ensures that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services.

• Qualifies suppliers according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection to ensure cost effectiveness.

Reliability Engineer

• Develops,coordinatesand conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (DOE) constructs.

• Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

To be considered for a Summer 2027EngineeringInternship, your resume must clearlydemonstratehow you meet each of these basic requirements.

• Working toward a bachelor's ormaster's degree in engineering withan anticipatedgraduation date ofWinter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029.

• Applicants forMiniMed'sSummer Internship Program must be currently authorized to work in the United States. MiniMeddoes not sponsor work authorization for internship positions. Individuals on temporary visa classifications, including E, F1 (CPT or OPT), H1, H2, L, B, J, or TN, as well as anyone whorequiresemployment sponsorship now or in the future, are not eligible for MiniMed's Summer Internship Program.

Nice to Have

• A minimum 3.0 out of a 4.0 cumulative GPA

• Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: C, C++, C#/, Java, Python,CAD:SolidWorks/Autocador equivalent, Microsoft Visual Studio, MATLAB

• Prior work on projects in a team environment preferred

• Relevant academic projects,internshipor lab experience preferred

• Technical writing skills

• FEMA knowledge

The MiniMed Internship Program offers an hourly rate of pay that falls within the range of $26.50 to $45.25 per hour. The hourly rate offered will be determined by the position and is subject to variation based on the number of years of school completed. Compensation and benefits informationpertainssolely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
