The Opportunity
You'll build internal tools, automations, and AI-powered workflows that improve how engineering and business teams operate. Working across Operations, Risk, Customer Success, Finance, and Engineering, you'll identify inefficient processes and solve them with software, APIs, data pipelines, and AI agents. Ideal for someone who enjoys turning ambiguous problems and emerging AI capabilities into reliable internal tools.

This is an on-site internship in NYC
Duration
This internship will be for a period of 8+ weeks
Responsibilities
  • Build internal tools, scripts, automations, dashboards, and AI-assisted workflows that reduce repetitive work
  • Prototype and evaluate AI agents and LLM-powered tools for document processing, data extraction, workflow routing, reporting, and knowledge retrieval
  • Integrate internal systems, third-party APIs, and business tools to reduce operational friction
  • Ensure automations are secure, maintainable, and aligned with company systems
  • Write documentation and repeatable patterns so teams can adopt and maintain new workflows
  • Measure impact through usage, time saved, error reduction, and team feedback

Requirements
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Go, Java, or similar
  • Interest in AI, automation, internal tooling, and applied software engineering
  • Comfortable with APIs, Git, command-line tools, and modern development workflows
  • Able to communicate with non-technical stakeholders and translate business problems into solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity

Bonus: LLM APIs, workflow automation tools, SQL, context engineering, or agentic systems

Compensation
The hourly rate is between $40-$50/hr.
Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location and current market data and may vary from the range above.
