Location: Remote Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Java Developer (Programmer 1) to help build web and backend applications and services supporting a credentialing and case management system. You'll join a development team creating next-generation customer engagement systems for federal service agencies using Java/Spring REST APIs, modern web technologies, and a continuous integration environment. This position requires U.S. Citizenship and an active Final DoD Secret Security Clearance. Job Responsibilities * Develop enterprise applications using Java. * Build web and backend applications and services. * Develop and integrate Java/Spring-based REST APIs. * Support credentialing and case management system capabilities. * Develop front-end functionality using technologies such as AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. * Participate in Agile software development activities. * Work within a continuous integration environment. * Use Java development tools including Eclipse, JUnit, and Git. * Collaborate with developers building customer engagement solutions for federal service agencies. Minimum Qualifications * US Citizen * Active Secret Clearance * 2+ years of Java development experience building enterprise applications. * At least 1 year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java. * At least 1 year of experience working in an Agile environment. * At least 1 year of experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git. * Active Final DoD Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications * Located in Colorado or the DMV area. * Experience supporting a large-scale federal IT program. * Experience working within the SAFe Agile delivery framework.
