Contract roles can vary in length, from a few months to a year or more, depending on project requirements. Contractors typically work for a company or client without being a full-time employee, often through an agency or as independent consultants. These roles may offer flexibility and higher pay rates compared to permanent positions but usually do not include employee benefits.

To thrive as a Java Programmer Contract, you need strong proficiency in Java programming, object-oriented design, and experience with frameworks like Spring and Hibernate, often supported by a degree in computer science or a related field.
