The second round will be scheduled only if the First round is successfully completed.

Second round : In Person technical interview in Chandler, AZ or Des Moines , IA or Charlotte, NC location.

Mandatory Requirements :

  1. Candidate must be local to Chandler, AZ or Des Moines IA or Charlotte NC .ย Should be willing to work from Wells Fargo office minimum 3 days in a week from any one of these locations.
  2. Candidate must be willing to attend an in-person interview if successful in the first round of online interview.
  3. Candidate should be willing to write code in Java.

About the Role :

We are seeking a talented Java Microservices developer to join our dynamic engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices with background in event streaming architectures, cloud platforms and mongo DB.ย 

The engineer will be working on hands on development associated with the modernization of the cardโ€™s platform. Candidate will play a key role in building next - gen solutions that power our business and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities :ย 

  1. Design , develop and deploy robust Java - based micro services using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
  2. Implement even driven solutions using technologies like Apache Kafka
  3. Integrate microservices with Mongo DB for scalable high performance data storage and retrieval
  4. Deploy manage and monitor Restful Micro services Spring on cloud platforms such as TAS ( PCF) and OCP
  5. Collaborate with cross functional teams including product owners, product managers, QA, DevOps and SRE to deliver high quality software
  6. Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code following best practices and coding standards
  7. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting and optimizing application performance
  8. Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of microservices in cloud environments.

Required Skills :

  1. 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java development with focus on microservices architecture
  2. Strong Experience with Sprint Boot, Spring Cloud and RESTful API Development
  3. Proficient in event streaming technologies
  4. Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms ( Preferred : OCP and TAS ; Nice to have : AWS, Azure, GCP, )
  5. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools ( Docker and Kubernetes)
  6. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attentional to detail
  8. Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  9. Proficient in debugging Java code

Preferred Qualifications :

  1. Experience in Banking and Financial Services industry
  2. Knowledge of security best practices in microservices and cloud environment
  3. Exposure to monitoring tools ( Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, AppD)
