Job Description

Position: Solutions Architect

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: 6 Months + Hire 

Position Description & Responsibilities 

The Solutions Architect is responsible for defining and maintaining the structure of the solution, and ensuring that it will meet the requirements. The Solutions Architect must also help the team to work together in an agile fashion, to jointly own the solution, and to interface well with other parts of the organization. The Solutions Architect is responsible for the delivery of client Healthcare solutions, including, evaluation and assessment of new projects, change controls and defects. They provide leadership and management of project teams on making architectural decisions to meet business requirements.


Qualifications

Requirements:

        Total 10+ years IT & Software experience

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Application\Solution Architect 

IBM technology stack experience - such as WebSphere application server, IBM WebSphere ESB/IIB, IBM WebSphere DataPower, Rational application developer and Rational software architect 

Expert DataPower capabilities, possible configurations and defining WSDL, XSD, and Swagger files for service definition

Capable of performing Message Broker Code / Flow reviews

Knowledge of IBM WebSphere ESB/IIB utilizing WTX for transformation is preferred

Significant Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design, Web Services, XML Schema and WSDL expertise

Object Oriented Design and Analysis expertise 

Must have proven experience in architecting complex web based applications 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering or relevant software experience 

Excellent verbal and written skills are required

Knowledge of TOGAF or other Enterprise Architecture Frameworks 

Knowledge of Healthcare EDI standards is preferred (834, 820, 999, TA1)

Knowledge of Java architecture and design patterns is a plus

Hands on knowledge of multiple operating systems (Linux, z/OS)

Knowledge of integration patterns

Understanding of capacity planning and load management

Awareness of data architecture / modeling

Mainframe experience is a plus
