Job description

Delivery Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Project Lead with Java, Spring Boot & Spring back experience to oversee and manage the delivery of projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong Java knowledge and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with client expectations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of project delivery, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
  • Expert in Java, Spring boot, sprint batch, API development & messaging (Kafka & Rabbit MQ)
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Utilize strong Java knowledge to guide technical discussions and decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact delivery timelines or quality.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and ensuring transparency throughout the project.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Java programming language and its frameworks.
  • Proven experience in project management methodologies and delivery management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and deployment strategies.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Experience in client-facing roles and managing stakeholder relationships.
