Senior Full Stack Software Engineer Overview / Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong experience developing end-to-end software solutions across frontend, backend, cloud, data, and AI-enabled technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, cloud-native application development, microservices, REST APIs, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Angular, Node.js, and modern AI/LLM technologies.

This is a hybrid position requiring four days onsite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications across UI, APIs, services, and data layers.
  • Own software features from concept through production.
  • Use AI coding assistants and generative AI tools to accelerate development, refactoring, debugging, documentation, and code reviews.
  • Architect and implement scalable and resilient cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop responsive and performant user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, and related frontend technologies.
  • Develop backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and related frameworks.
  • Translate complex engineering data structures into application data models and workflows.
  • Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs and microservices for enterprise system integration.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise data platforms and PLM systems.
  • Deploy infrastructure components using Terraform and implement CI/CD pipelines using Tekton and GitHub Actions.
  • Champion clean code, automated testing, code reviews, and secure coding practices.
  • Work with product managers, architects, and engineering data stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex integration and performance issues across distributed systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of IT experience and 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Senior-level experience with practical proficiency in two coding languages or advanced proficiency in one coding language.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong full stack software engineering experience.
  • Deep proficiency in Java.
  • Experience with cloud-native architecture and application development.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience building and consuming REST APIs, FAST APIs, and Stream APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and PostgreSQL, including table design, creation, and modification.
  • Experience integrating with PLM products.
  • Strong practical experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and Firestore.
  • Frontend experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, RxJS, NgRx, and Angular Material or similar component libraries.
  • Backend experience with Node.js, Java, Python, Spring Boot, NestJS, Express, REST APIs, and microservices.
  • DevOps experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Kubernetes, and automated deployments.
  • Experience with AI/LLM technologies, including AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and agentic workflows.
  • Experience with Agile software development practices, secure coding, API design, observability, documentation, and production support.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform Cloud Run, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, Node.js, Angular, Spring Boot, REST APIs, React, Java, microservices, artificial intelligence and expert systems, and BigQuery.
