RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Java Developer to join their team.
Summary:
The main workstream this individual will be focused on is one of their management systems, as well as another team. The team is the main focus as they essentially house all the data behind every input/output and where things sit/go. They are currently in the process of retiring several systems and migrating their services over to a pricing engine to then connect to other systems. This will all be Java 21+, Spring Boot, Elastic Search, Cassandra and Google Cloud Platform along with other tools and with a mix of ML and data. They are seeking someone who is a strong communicator, problem solver, understands AI and can critique AI code.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-7+ years of java experience (21+)
* Expertise in Spring Boot
* Strong in cloud (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
* Ability to communicate/collaborate with stakeholders in a fast-paced agile environment
* Strong problem solver with a proactive approach
* Ability to communicate with stakeholders and have strong business acumen
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
