Job Description
We are looking for a senior cloud/ infrastructure engineer who has strong expertise in cloud/ infrastructure engineering and DevOps, and has built high-performance, scalable and extensible systems.
Qualifications
YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO
  • Evangelize software development and DevOps best practices and mentor engineers on the team.
  • Write great code, create architectures, design components, and deliver robust high-volume production cloud based platform.
  • Rapidly drive a project from a simple idea to prototype to an implementation.
  • Provide thought leadership for building Ciitizen's cloud platform to be used by millions of patients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and business teams to build and deploy the platform.
YOU HAVE 10+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE IN
  • Leading small, agile teams with the ability to work across the lifecycle and mentor others.
  • Building full stack cloud services (AWS/ Google Cloud) including DevOps experience (DNS/load balancing, security, firewalls, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of the following web technologies (HTTP, AJAX, JSON, CSS, REST APIs, etc).
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (i.e. Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.), deployment and orchestration technologies (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes), distributed storage (i.e. Hadoop, S3) and system monitoring tools (i.e. Splunk).
  • Development in Java, Javascript ( MVC frameworks like Angular/ Ember), Node.js, Java, C, C++, Unix/ Linux and mobile platforms (e.g. Android, iOS).
  • Proficient with at least one shell and high level scripting language (Bash, Perl, Python).
  • Understanding of open source server software and ability to integrate with commercial technologies to build a cloud platform.

  • BA/BS/MS in Computer Science or Equivalent.
