Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead our technical direction and architect scalable digital platforms. This person will make high-level decisions regarding system design, cloud infrastructure, and tool selection. They will also mentor junior team members and champion high-quality engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* System Architecture: Design scalable, secure, and highly available web architectures
* Technical Leadership: Define coding standards, run code reviews, and mentor engineering staff
* Infrastructure & DevOps: Oversee cloud deployments, system monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code
* Performance Tuning: Optimize applications for maximum speed, security, and scalability
* Strategic Planning: Align technical choices with long-term business goals alongside stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience: 5+ years of experience leading complex software engineering projects
* Advanced Tech: Deep expertise in full-stack ecosystems, system design patterns, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
* Database Architecture: Experience designing high-performance data pipelines and distributed storage
* Soft Skills: Proven leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance technical debt with rapid feature delivery
* Strong software engineering background (backend/platform engineering)
* Terraform experience in production
* API/integration development experience
* Cloud + DevOps exposure
* Experience with authentication technologies such as Okta, Entra, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
