What You Will Do:

  • Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of full-stack web applications.

  • Build and maintain frontend and backend features using modern technologies such as Python, JavaScript, Django, and Vue.js.

  • Work with product owners, business analysts, UX designers, and senior engineers to translate requirements into working software.

  • Assist with cloud-based application development, API integrations, and basic troubleshooting in AWS environments.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing activities, and team discussions to continuously improve delivery quality.


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree or four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in full-stack application development.

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript.

  • Experience with a backend framework such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar.

  • Experience with a frontend framework such as Vue.js, React, Angular, Svelte, or similar.

  • Basic understanding of APIs, databases, cloud concepts, and software development lifecycle practices.

  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a team environment.

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Due to the nature of this role and associated government clearance requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) to be eligible for consideration.

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Exposure to AWS services, serverless development, containers, or CI/CD tools.

  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar data stores.

  • Experience working in Agile teams and using tools such as Jira, Git, or similar development platforms.

  • AWS certification or interest in pursuing cloud certifications.

  • Interest in building secure, reliable, and user-focused software solutions for mission-driven clients.

The annual salary range for this position is $61,000.00-$101,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
