Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Standard Forklift Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company in Dalton, GA. Standard Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Must have 5 years of experience
- Load, unload, move, and stack products, pallets, or materials within the warehouse or onto trucks.
- Inspect forklifts daily and perform basic maintenance checks (fuel, oil, battery, tires, etc.).
- Scan and record inventory movement using barcode scanners.
- Keep aisles, shelves, and storage areas organized and hazard-free.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including wearing PPE and adhering to OSHA regulations.
Standard Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as a forklift operator. Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards.
- Ability to use bar code scanner
- Comfortable working in various environments (cold storage, outdoors, noisy areas).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception for safe operation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
