Job description

About SAYDAR

At Chefman, we don't just build world-class kitchen appliances — we build the infrastructure that powers businesses behind the scenes. SAYDAR is our proprietary supply chain software platform, built from the ground up to make supply chain management simple, autonomous, and accessible for hardworking businesses of every size. What started as an internal solution to our own supply chain challenges has grown into a sophisticated platform serving businesses across North America.

We're not building a finished product — we're building a commitment. A commitment to our customers, to continuous improvement, and to solving real operational problems with elegant, scalable software. As we grow, we're expanding SAYDAR's capabilities deeper into financial operations, and we need a senior developer who can help us get there.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer with a strong financial systems background to join the SAYDAR engineering team. In this role, you won't just be writing code — you'll be architecting solutions that sit at the intersection of supply chain logistics and financial operations, helping accounting teams work smarter within a complex, high-velocity platform.

If you've built software that finance and accounting teams actually love to use, understand the nuances of financial workflows, and can own full-stack development from database to UI, this role was written for you.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL, and Entity Framework across SAYDAR's supply chain and financial modules
  • Architect and build ERP-adjacent features that enable accounting teams to manage invoicing, cost tracking, financial reconciliation, and reporting directly within the SAYDAR platform
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services that power both internal operations and external integrations, including accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP
  • Build and enhance responsive front-end interfaces using Angular and NGRX, with a focus on financial dashboards, reporting tools, and operational workflows
  • Integrate front-end components with backend APIs to deliver seamless, intuitive experiences for finance and operations users
  • Translate complex financial and accounting requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and product to define requirements, architecture, and technical solutions
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to raising development standards and best practices across the engineering team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full application stack including database, API, and UI layers
  • Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, standouts, and retrospectives
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor for mid-level and junior developers on the team

MUST HAVE: Required Technical Stack / Hands-On Experience

This role requires strong hands-on experience with the existing technology stack:

  • Angular for frontend development,
  • NGRX for state management,
  • C#/.NET for backend services,
  • SignalR or similar realtime communication frameworks.

Qualifications

Please Note: Chefman is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa support, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, or any other work authorization requiring sponsorship. Applications from candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in full-stack or backend development
  • Demonstrated experience building software tools, modules, or platforms used by finance or accounting departments — invoicing, cost management, reconciliation, financial reporting, or ERP integration
  • Strong proficiency in ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL, and Entity Framework
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, including integrations with financial or ERP systems
  • Experience developing front-end applications using Angular and NGRX
  • Solid understanding of financial workflows, accounting principles, and how they translate into software requirements
  • Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to own projects end-to-end with minimal oversight
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you can speak to both engineers and finance stakeholders clearly

Preferred

  • Experience working on supply chain, logistics, inventory, or operational platforms
  • Prior experience integrating with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Background working in or alongside finance, accounting, or operations teams in a product or consulting capacity
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment where ownership and adaptability are essential

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to shape a growing platform used by real businesses solving real supply chain challenges
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where your contributions are visible and your ideas are heard
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • Room to grow within a company that builds both world-class appliances and world-class software
Salary Range (commensurate with experience)
$135,000—$160,000 USD
