Job Title: Java Automation Engineer

SUMMARY
Agile Defense is looking for a Java Automation Engineer or Java Automation Developer to join a large scale national security program responsible for protecting US transportation infrastructure. The program is focused on making risk assessments of individuals attempting to access US transportation infrastructure. There is a demanding response time, availability, and transaction requirement for the program. The program uses Agile Development and the Java Engineer/Developer will be a member of an agile team.

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a formal degree.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
- 2+ years of java development experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience/ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
- Experience with Java/JEE
- Experience with Agile Development
- Ability to independently manage tasks and deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience with any of the following preferred: JMS, XML, Angular, SQL
- Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program with high availability requirements
