Job description

Job Title: Java Developer with PL/SQL
Location: St Louis, MO Remote till Covid
Duration: 6 to 12 Months Contract
Job description:
  • Assist in the development of enterprise systems making specific determinations about system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to requests for support in order to troubleshoot and/or maintain production systems.
  • Conducts system analysis and development, with limited support, to keep information systems current with changing technologies.
  • Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
  • Tests new or enhanced programs to ensure logic and syntax are correct.
  • Maintains Centene Technologies development standards and best practices.
  • Responsible for processing and performing all jobs/tasks in an efficient manner with little assistance from the supervisor.

Experience Required:
  • 3+ years PL/SQL or T-SQL
  • 3+ years J2EE / Java
  • 3+ years development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale OLTP and DSS in a client-server environment
  • 3+ years of Database design, development, and normalization using Oracle DBMS, MongoDB, or Microsoft SQL Server
  • A broad base of knowledge with various OS including Microsoft OS, UNIX, Linux
  • Continuous integration technologies (TFS, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, JUnit)
  • IT experience in a Healthcare environment is a plus
  • Agile methodology is a plus
