The opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Peoplesoft Developer to join our Corporate IT team based in our Canton, MA; Boston, MA; Farmington, CT or Raleigh, NC offices on a hybrid schedule. The Peoplesoft Developer opportunity is ideal for an initiative-taking PeopleSoft techno-functional developer with 3–5 years of experience in PeopleSoft Financials, including AP, GL, Expenses, PO, eProcurement, and Cash Management modules, along with a strong understanding of the associated business processes. The candidate will be responsible for working closely with stakeholders, product owners, and agile team members to understand and communicate business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions designing, developing, and supporting solutions across PeopleSoft Finance modules using PeopleTools products and technology. Some of the Peoplesoft Developer responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • This position is part of a development team responsible for building or modifying PeopleSoft FSCM/SCM modules.
  • Develop and maintain customizations to Financial Peoplesoft modules using PeopleTools and related technologies (Application Engines, CI’s, PeopleCode, Integration brokers, BI Publisher)
  • Enhancing maintaining batch processing in PeopleSoft Process Scheduler and integration of Peoplesoft batch with BMC Control-M scheduling systems.
  • Collaborating with offshore PeopleSoft developers, providing guidance throughout the development lifecycle, reviewing technical designs, and conducting impact analysis to ensure solution quality and alignment.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and continuous improvements initiatives.
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and continuous improvements.
  • Document technical designs, processes, and enhancements in accordance with IT standards.

The expertise you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Degree from a Technical school or equivalent work experience.
  • On the job training is also recognized.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of professional enterprise level Java or C# coding and development experience.
  • Strong core language skills in either Java or C#
  • Experience with unit testing.

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires; however, your recruiter will provide more specific compensation details during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $81,000 - $115,000 based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Washington DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $102,000 - $121,000. In addition to base salary, full time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential and a full range of benefits to include but not limited to:
