Job description

Job Title: Mid-Level Java Developer
Experience:3-6 years
Start Date:7/15/2026
Type: W2 Employee
Location: MUSTBE Local to the Sacramento, CA region andbe available to work onsite, althoughthe position is mostlyremote workcurrently. Officehours arebetween the hours of 8am and 5pmMonday through Friday.
Compensation: DOE and compensation package of benefits. Range of W2 Salaried $100K - 110K, W2 hourly $50-58/hr.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience
  • Strong back-end experience with Java 11/17, Maven, and Hibernate, along with:
  • Quarkus,
  • Java EE / Jakarta EE(with WildFly or JBoss)
  • Front-end development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with JSF / PrimeFaces
  • Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Proficiency with Git(GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
  • Experience in unit and integration testing

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in Linux environments(SSH, bash, Ubuntu, RHEL)
  • Experience with React
  • Additional back-end experience (e.g., PHP, Python)
  • Knowledge of health data standards(HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, LOINC, SNOMED, AIMS)
  • Experience with containers(Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and artifact repositories
  • Knowledge of GIS/mapping, visualization, or geocoding
