• Java- experience on any UI or JAVA application that helps to understand the how the client server architecture works here (back end procedures , SQL, objects called from the front end)
PREFERRED:
• IBM WebSphere /Liberty, IBM RAD tools and JMS experience is highly desirable
• ORACLE PL/SQL experience is preferred
• BlueCard Business/Technical Knowledge-strongly preferred
Job Description: JOB SUMMARY:
Sr. JAVA Developers are responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions. Senior IT Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products. Senior IT Developers are responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application. Senior IT Developers lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.
REQUIREMENTS:

• Responsible for development, programming, coding of complex and business critical Information Technology solutions
• Responsible for documentation of the system, conduct unit tests, peer code reviews and maintenance of internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing
• Responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.
• Lead development efforts, oversee work results.
• Write code for complex system designs and provides consultative guidance on project with extensive size, scope and risk.
• Write programs that span platforms. Code to and/or create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
• Develops web-based applications using ReactJS, NodeJS, D3 and other JavaScript based frameworks and libraries.
• Develops microservices
• Identify integration points. Review technical specs created by other developers.
• Consult with other Developers, Business Analysts, Systems Analysts and Project Managers "Scope" time, resources, etc. required to complete programming projects.
• Seek review from other Developers, Business Analysts, Systems Analysts or Project Managers on estimates.
• Perform unit testing and debugging. Able to debug most program errors.
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures

• Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio

• Manipulate data from various sources / formats such as: flat files, relational databases, non-relational databases, XML, JSON, etc.
