Job description

The State of Wisconsin is looking for a Java Developer III
Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:
- 5+ years working with Java and spring framework/spring boot
- 5+ years in web applications development, web services, REST api and etc
- 3+ years in Messaging Queues and Caching and related tools like Kafka and Redis
- 2+ years of work in Angular
- 5+ years working in Relational databases like Oracle
-Nice to Have Skills:
- Dell Boomi, Dynatrace, Microsoft Azure Devops
Interview Process: IN PERSON INTERVIEWS ARE REQUIRED FOR BOTH FIRST AND SECOND ROUND. A real-time screenshot photo of the candidate MUST be uploaded to candidate's bid in order to accept an interview request. Please see "DOJ Realtime Photo Requirement & Instructions" document in the Attachments section of this posting for details.
Onsite or Remote? Candidate MUST be a resident local to Madison or near the Madison office, or willing to relocate to Madison prior to starting the role at their own expense. LOCAL CANDIDATES STRONGLY PREFERRED. IF SUBMITTING OUT OF STATE CANDIDATES THEY MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND IN PERSON INTERVIEW. The selected hire can work 100% remote from within the Madison area but must be available to come into the office if needed.
Project Details: The Wisconsin Department of Justice requires a Java Developer III with strong core Java/spring framework/Messaging queue/Caching experience for the application development unit for the Criminal History (CH) Improvements and modernization project(s).
