Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Spring Boot, WebSphere, DB2)

Commercial Banking Engineering is seeking a skilled Java Developer with extensive experience in Java, Struts, SQL, REST APIs, SOAP services, and other backend Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both frontโend and backโend technologies, with a focus on building scalable enterprise applications. Experience with cloud integration, security practices, and IBM technologies is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Work within a crossโfunctional team of Developers, BSAs, and technical experts to understand requirements and drive the design and implementation of technical solutions.
- Collaborate with architecture groups on design proposals, development, and maintenance of applications.
- Address technical issues on projects, proactively engaging the project team and clients with concerns.
- Troubleshoot technical issues to identify root causes.
- Consider the Bankโs risk appetite and risk culture in dayโtoโday activities and decisions.
- Champion a highโperformance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Java backend development and related technologies.
- Experience with Struts, SQL, developing REST APIs, and SOAP services.
- Proficiency in frontโend and backโend technologies, with ability to build scalable enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of cloud integration, security bestโpractices, and IBM technologies preferred.
- Excellent problemโsolving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
