We are seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of a public-facing mobile application. The developer will work on the MyFWP mobile application, which is currently being transitioned from native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) codebases to a single React Native codebase. The role involves full lifecycle development, close collaboration with Agile teams, and adherence to security and quality standards set by the State of Montana.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of mobile application enhancements.
  • Enhance existing mobile app functionality, including UI components, backend integrations, and data handling.
  • Develop and maintain system interfaces, reports, queries, and batch processes as required.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Manage tasks and source code using GitLab, following established CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with technical teams during regular code reviews.
  • Develop modular, maintainable, and well-documented source code.
  • Ensure solutions comply with secure coding standards and security best practices.
  • Perform local testing of all developed features prior to delivery.
  • Support sprint demos, feature demonstrations, and release presentations.
  • Provide clear technical documentation, release notes, and end-user guidance.

Technical Requirements
