Job Summary:
Odyssey Systems is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem. They are seeking a Software Engineer to support advanced situational awareness and multi-domain operations programs, focusing on the design, analysis, and integration of RF and signal processing systems.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and maintain software features of moderate complexity with limited supervision.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and QA to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute constructive feedback, and follow established coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across development and test environments.
• Contribute to technical documentation, including design notes, API references, and user guides.
• Support integration, deployment, and CI/CD activities as part of the development lifecycle.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Assist in improving development processes, tools, and team workflows.
• Begin taking ownership of small modules or components within the system architecture.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be a US citizen
• Active Secret clearance (ability to obtain TS/SCI)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Understanding of software development methodologies, data structures, and algorithms
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Preferred:
• TS/SCI clearance
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
