Job Description We are seeking a Software Engineer (Core Java, AI Agents) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java and Python, AI agent development, and scalable software delivery and a proven ability to design, implement, and deploy autonomous agents and intelligent systems. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy AI agents for autonomous decision-making and task execution.

Build robust services and APIs using Core Java and Spring Boot. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate agents with data sources and external systems. Apply ML fundamentals to train, evaluate, and deploy models supporting agent behavior.

Implement CI/CD, unit testing, and debugging practices to ensure quality and reliability. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in Core Java; working knowledge of Python. Hands-on experience with AI agent development or integration (autonomous, conversational, or task-oriented agents).

Understanding of ML concepts: supervised/unsupervised learning, training, fine-tuning, transfer learning, embeddings, validation, evaluation, and deployment. Familiarity with Java-based ML libraries such as Deeplearning4j, Weka, or Apache Mahout. Exposure to Python ML/agent tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or LangChain.

Data preprocessing and feature engineering with structured and unstructured data. Strong OOP and design patterns, Git, unit testing, and debugging skills. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery.

Experience level: 5+ years in software engineering. Preferred Skills: Experience implementing autonomous agents for planning, decision-making, or environment interaction. Knowledge of agent frameworks such as JADE, OpenAI Gym, ReAct, or AutoGPT.

Understanding of agent architectures including reactive, deliberative, and multi-agent systems. Integration experience with APIs, databases, and external services. Exposure to AWS or Azure.

Familiarity with LLM-based agents and prompt engineering. Role Logistics & Process: Start month: July. Hybrid schedule: minimum 3 days onsite per week.

Onsite day 1. Interview process: first round in person at the Bank office, second round via video. Glider: ID verification.

Potential contract-to-hire. Candidates must not require sponsorship now or in the future. Approved location: Addison, TX.
