Job Overview:
The National Simulation Center's Global Simulation Capability serves as the US Army's Constructive Simulation Provider for Army Corps and Division Headquarters home station training events in the Continental United States. This is position supports the Global Simulation Capability, National Simulation Center at Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.
Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conducts overall management coordination and integration for all technical, networking, simulation, exercise design, and administrative support
  • Assists the Government in the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of simulation systems and tools, and exercises and training events in particular intelligence activities
  • Assist in developing realistic scripting and scenario development for intelligence operations, equipment, and situations
  • Provides strategic solutions for standardizing technology, technical documentation, and technical support models across the site(s)
  • Provides system integration, administration and security technical support for training events and exercise end user items associated with simulation systems and MCIS, and/or exercise Information System (IS) devices.
  • Attends training, seminars, conferences, exercise/experiment planning events, site surveys, and training events.
  • On occasion, operates simulation system or MCIS for the unit during execution of the training event, conducts troubleshooting as necessary
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Minimum and Preferred Requirements/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (CS, Engineering, IT, or associated discipline) is preferred.
  • 3 yrs. experience supporting like sized teams and projects.
  • At least 3 years working in DoD Intelligence fields of any discipline.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and scripting, including languages like C++, Java, or Python.
  • Familiarity with network architecture and protocols, particularly those used in military or simulation environments.
  • IAT II Certification.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Successful experience working in a team environment.

Security Requirement :
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Travel Required: 33-50%
