Responsibilities

  • Develop & Implement: Build and support the usage of a data visualization toolkit, including configuration, deployment, and usage.
  • Backend Engineering: Work on APIs, services, and data processing pipelines using Python or Java.
  • Data-Heavy Visualizations: Create multi-dimensional, time-series, cascading, and drill-down visualizations for analytics platforms and monitoring tools.
  • Full-Stack Development: Build and consume REST APIs, ensuring seamless frontend-backend integration.
  • Database Management: Work with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) to handle structured data, complex queries, and analytics workloads.
  • Linux Environment: Deploy, debug, and operate services in real-world production environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Technical BS and 14+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Poly (required).
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proficiency in Python or Java for backend development.
    • Proven experience building multi-dimensional visualizations, including time-series, cascading, and drill-down interfaces.
    • Full-stack development experience using REST APIs.
    • Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
    • Strong background developing in Linux environments.
