Job Description

Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements.ย 

Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program codingย 

and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Requires aย 

bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a relatedย 

area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies onย 

experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A degree ofย 

creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Scala/Akka/Play, Java, Spring MVC, Cassandra, JDBC, agile, restful services, TomCat, Apache,ย 

GIT/Gerrit, agile environment, collaboration with operations and QA teams to ensure successfulย
