Job Description

The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions across various projects managed by the PMO. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of business processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct cross-functional interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed requirements from stakeholders.

• Break down and analyze requirements to ensure they are clear, concise, and feasible.

• Create detailed requirement documents, user stories, and use cases.

• Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions and identify potential constraints.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate effectively with Project Management counterparts and development teams.

• Work closely with solution architects and developers to design technical solutions that meet product and business needs.

• Assist in creating prototypes or proof of concepts to validate requirements and design assumptions.

• Ensure the final solution meets the business requirements through testing, validation, and user acceptance testing.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication between all parties involved in the project.

• Assist in project planning, including defining project scope, timelines, milestones and support the PMO team in delivery

• Manage changes to requirements and ensure all changes are communicated and documented.

• Identifying trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement within projects and the PMO

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making.

• Create test plans and test cases to ensure that the developed solutions meet the specified requirements.

• Participate in various testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.

• Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve BA processes and deliverables.

• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or other relevant certifications.

Experience:

o 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment.

o Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Preferred:

o Bachelor Degree in Business, Project Management, Communication, Technology and active CBAP or similar certification

o Background in software development or IT operations.

o Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Wireframe Sketcher, or equivalent.

o Experience with data tools such as SQL, Excel, Sisense, or Power BI.

o Basic understanding of coding languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)

o Write user stories.

o Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

o Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

o Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

o Have a solid grasp of software development processes, systems architecture, and relevant technologies.
