Job description

Titan Technologies is seeking an experienced, Sr. Full Stack Developer to design and maintain IT infrastructures that support the National Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System (NEDSS) collection of health care data for analysis and submission to the federal Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) infectious disease commission.
On the NEDSS program, Titan supplies software programming, process improvement, and project management tasks where our personnel maintain, support, and continue to enhance the Public Health Investigation and Disease Detection (PHIDDO) application for disease reporting with the analytics of at least 143 active diseases.
What Titan Offers:
  • Primarily remote work. Occasional travel to customer site for meetings.
    • Must reside in Oklahoma City or within driving distance to attend meetings when necessary.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Develop unit tests to validate the functionality of the application components.

You must have these skills & experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of Full Stack Experience or related experience
  • Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with Java, and J2EE or Spring Boot frameworks to modernize new applications
  • Experience with legacy technologies, such as, C#, .NET 7.0 framework, VB.net and Silverlight/Open Silver are a big plus
  • Familiarity with modern development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong expertise in SQL for database design, querying, and optimization. Experience developing SQL stored procedures and writing and optimizing complex queries.
  • Understanding of data warehousing processes.
  • Experience leading Agile Development teams
  • Federal Health IT experience a plus!

It's great if you also have these skills:
  • Agile or ScrumMaster Certification
  • Web development experience using Microsoft technologies
  • Azure DevOps/Team Foundation experience
  • Familiarity with Rhapsody or other ETL software
