The base salary range for this position is $140,900 to $176,900 (USD), exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits. JOB DESCRIPTION MissionEdge Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to support the continued development and enhancement of AUTUMNATTIC , a mission-critical full-stack application. In this role, you'll work with modern technologies including Java, Angular, and Elasticsearch to build new features, improve existing functionality, and deliver reliable, high-performance solutions for government customers. You will collaborate with a talented Agile development team to design, develop, test, and deploy both front-end and back-end capabilities, participate in peer code reviews, troubleshoot application issues, and help ensure AUTUMNATTIC continues to meet evolving mission requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a software engineer who enjoys full-stack development, collaborative problem-solving, and working with cloud-native technologies. Telework (up to 16 hours per week) may be available for this position based on mission needs/available tasking at the discretion of leadership, after the individual has become fully acclimated to the duties and responsibilities of the position and has completed the necessary telework training. Minimum Required Qualifications: * Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
* Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph
* Fourteen (7) years of Software Engineering (SWE) experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university. An additional four (4) years of relevant Software Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
* Experience developing full-stack applications using Java and the Angular framework.
* Experience with GitLab for source code management and Docker for containerized application development.
* Experience deploying and managing applications using Kubernetes or Marathon.
* Strong understanding of software development best practices, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative Agile development. Desired/Preferred Skills: * Experience working with Elasticsearch, including language analyzers and search optimization.
* Familiarity with computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, such as LILT.
* Experience supporting enterprise applications in mission-critical or high-availability environments. Working Conditions: Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager. Employees are required to notify management in advance of any plans to relocate out of state to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations. Physical Requirements: May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
