In this setup, the consultant is not a direct employee of the client but works under a B2B arrangement between corporations. Java C2C jobs typically require expertise in Java programming and related technologies, such as Spring, Hibernate, and Microservices. Candidates for these roles usually hold H-1B, OPT, or other work authorizations and work through their own or a vendor's corporation.

To thrive as a Java C2C professional, you need strong expertise in Java programming, object-oriented design, and software development best practices, usually supported by a relevant degree and hands-on experience. Familiarity with development tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ IDEA, build systems such as Maven or Gradle, and potentially certifications like Oracle Certified Java Programmer are important assets. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and the ability to quickly adapt to new client environments make candidates stand out in this contract-based role. These skills ensure you can deliver quality software solutions efficiently and integrate effectively with diverse teams and business requirements.
