Job description

Job Summary:
Cymertek Corporation is seeking a versatile and innovative Java / C / AWS Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of robust, scalable, and secure software solutions. The role involves designing, building, and optimizing applications using Java and C while leveraging AWS cloud services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create efficient systems and troubleshoot complex issues.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop and maintain Java-based applications
โ€ข Design and implement C-based software solutions
โ€ข Build and optimize cloud-based systems using AWS
โ€ข Ensure application scalability and performance
โ€ข Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Proficiency in Java programming
โ€ข Expertise in C programming
โ€ข Strong understanding of AWS services
โ€ข Ability to debug and troubleshoot code
โ€ข Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
โ€ข Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
โ€ข Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cloud Computing, Data Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Applied Mathematics, etc.
โ€ข TS/SCI Full Poly clearance (requires full U.S. Citizenship)
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker)
โ€ข Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
โ€ข Knowledge of microservices architecture
โ€ข Understanding of serverless computing in AWS
โ€ข Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python)
