Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience building high-performance, high-availability applications.
Ability to develop creative solutions to difficult problems.
Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products.
Provides technical expertise to implement and deliver various web and other system projects.
Gathers and analyzes requirements, design and development of the projects.
Organizes and participates in review sessions and contribute to design insights for the projects.
Develops good quality projects in a challenging timeframe and assists other members of the team.
Requirements:
BA/BS in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent experience
5+ years' experience with Java
5+ years working in a Java EE environment
MySQL experience and complete understanding
Significant experience and in-depth knowledge of the Spring framework
Significant experience and in-depth knowledge of Hibernate (ORM)
Significant experience and in-depth knowledge of web services and SOA
Significant experience with Object Oriented design and development
PREFERRED SKILLS
Leadership experience
Jetty or Tomcat preferred
NoSQL knowledge is a plus
Previous work experience involving Axis2, Eclipse, JUnit, Maven, Subversion, SCRUM process
E-commerce development a plus
Background in automotive industry preferred (ACES and PIES standards)
