Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Java Application Support Lead with expertise in the banking domain. The role involves providing production support for Java applications, managing incidents, and improving application stability through debugging and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Work actively with team members to analyze and resolve applications issues.
• Incident Management (Incident resolution, stakeholder communication).
• Support Business Continuity Planning, Migration, Holiday activities.
• Automate manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis of issues/discrepancies by debugging code or analyzing logs.
• Improve application stability by observing patterns, recurring alerts or issues and provide solution for permanent fix.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Applications Support in Java with excellent debugging skills.
• Experience in Oracle PL/SQL database
• Knowledge on ITIL process - Incident Management & Problem Management
• Experience in Unix and shell scripting
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments
• Database management
• Work actively with team members to analyze and resolve applications issues.
