Qualifications:


Bachelors Degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field is required

5+ years experience developing in a widely used object oriented programming language preferably Java

5+ years of demonstrated experience in Java development

3 years of experience working with Eclipse IDE, SOAP client tools, and setting of Maven build and deployment

3 to 6 years hands on experience in developing n-Tier applications using any of the Java/J2EE technologies such as JSP, JSF, JAXB, DOM/SAX, JMS, POJO, Web Services

Strong experience in deploying web services in JBoss

Proficient with Java/J2EE stack development and the following technologies: Web Services, XML, SOAP Thorough knowledge of Java SE libraries, use of collections and high-level concurrency

Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Object Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns and multi-threading

Experience with Hibernate and JDBC for connection services to Relational Database environments (i.e. DB2)

Working knowledge and experience troubleshooting Java applications deployed in multi-tiered architecture required

Experience in Windows, Unix and Aix operating systems 

Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders

Must be a team player that works well with technical and non-technical resources

Knowledge of Rules Engine and Business Process Execution Language (BPEL)

Financial industry background a plus

Experience programming in SQL, Java, java Script Web Application and Relational Database(SQL Server, Oracle)

Understanding of J2EE Architecture (JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, etc.) and deployment procedures

Analytical Skills (ability to digest requirements and produce design)

Ability for Testing/Quality Control Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Prior experience with workflow solutions preferred

Able to obtain a Public Trust clearance or higher

Working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) as well as Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principle

Working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, JBoss

Experience in Graphical User Interface (GUI) design
