Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the development and support of small to medium sized Java applications consistent with the group's technical strategy. Supporting the Front-Office Trade Floor and Back-Office Operations area. There will be a rotational schedule for After Hours Production Support.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required/Must have:
• Java application development.
• Basic knowledge of RDBMS (Sybase or Oracle)
Desired/Plus:
• Application Production Support experience is a plus.
• OPICS
• TRM/TRAIANDA
BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE
Desired/Plus:
FX / Foreign Exchange business knowledge is a plus.
COMPETENCIES
Required/Must have:
Interpersonal/Communciation skills need to be excellent. Will be required to interact with the Trade Floor.
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE
Required/Must have:
• 4-7 years of TOTAL work experience as a Java Developer.
Desired/Plus:
• Financial Industry experience.
