JOB SUMMARY

The AI Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying modern web, mobile, and cloud-based applications with embedded AI, automation, and intelligent capabilities. This role combines deep software engineering expertise with applied AI development to deliver scalable, secure, high-performance solutions across the full technology stack.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Full Stack Application Development

  • Architect, design, and build custom applications using modern full-stack frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Node.js, .NET Core, Java, Python/Django).
  • Develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
  • Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, design schemas, optimize performance, and ensure data integrity.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, version control, and cloud-native deployment patterns.


AI & Intelligent Automation Development

  • Design and implement AI-enabled features such as chatbots, recommendation systems, NLP/NLU models, predictive analytics, and automated decision-making.
  • Integrate large language models (LLMs), vector databases, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering into custom applications.
  • Utilize machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or cloud AI services (Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI).
  • Evaluate AI model performance, accuracy, and risk; ensure solutions comply with responsible AI principles.


Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

  • Define system architecture, component design, and technical specifications.
  • Evaluate tools, frameworks, and platforms to ensure alignment with business and technology strategy.
  • Lead prototyping efforts and proof-of-concept builds for new AI-assisted capabilities.
  • Contribute to engineering standards, code quality, security, and performance best practices.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with product owners, business analysts, UX designers, and data teams to understand business needs and transform them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Communicate technical decisions, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to business and technical stakeholders.


Quality, Testing & Support

  • Implement unit, integration, regression, and performance tests for full-stack and AI components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring reliability and high availability.
  • Maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, API definitions, data flows, and runbooks.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or comparable experience.
  • 1-4+ years of experience developing full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend languages (JavaScript/Node.js, Python, Java, C#, Go).
  • Proficiency in one or more frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Svelte).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
  • Hands-on experience developing AI-enabled features using LLMs, NLP, ML models, or cloud AI services.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, schema design, and query optimization.
  • Experience building and consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector search, and embeddings.
  • Experience fine-tuning AI models or using frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or Hugging Face.
  • Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture (Kafka, EventHub, SNS/SQS).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices such as OWASP and secure API design.
  • Experience with MLOps pipelines and deployed model lifecycle management.
  • Mobile development experience with React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin.
