Job Description Summary ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Embark on a journey in the Accelerated Development Program, designed for the best in Information Technology. As you navigate through the program, you’ll not only gain invaluable skills but also embody the vital cornerstones on which the technology team successfully operates.

The Application Development program track runs for twelve months. Learn a development discipline such as Front-End, Back-End, Database, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), COBOL, Software Quality Management, Cloud technologies, or AI-enabled development tools to create innovative solutions that have a direct influence on the lives of advisors, their clients, and associates around the globe. Participants will also gain exposure to emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence-enabled development tools, automation, and data-driven solution design, while learning how to apply these tools responsibly within a financial services technology environment. Upon completion of the program, work will continue within the assigned discipline area.

• Specified projects and assignments, which may vary based on team alignment
• Operates standard office equipment and is able to use required software applications
• Explores and applies approved AI-enabled development tools to support coding, testing, documentation, research, and problem-solving
• Assists with identifying opportunities to integrate automation, AI, or data-driven capabilities into technology solutions and business processes
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Knowledge of Algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity
• Programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc.
• Basic understanding of software engineering practices
• Foundational artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation concepts
• Responsible use of AI tools, including awareness of data privacy, security, accuracy, and ethical considerations
• Basic concepts, principles, and practices of an assigned business unit
• Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a professional office environment
• Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Skills
• Fundamental concepts of Financial Services
• Skill in Active participation/leadership in a professional, community or academic organization
• Relevant internships and/or work experience in applicable school or industry organizations
• Strong record of academic achievement and interest in Information Technology
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Analytical thinking and problem solving
• Using approved development, collaboration, and AI-enabled productivity tools to support software delivery
• Evaluating AI-generated recommendations or outputs for accuracy, quality, security, and business fit
• Executing tasks on a timeline
• Ability to Troubleshoot and debug code
• Test and validate solutions
• Apply critical thinking when using AI-enabled tools to validate outputs and ensure solutions meet requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve processes or user experiences through automation, AI-enabled tools, or emerging technologies
• Prioritize tasks and execute deliverables
• Work independently as well as on a team
• Provide a high level of customer service
• Establish and maintain relationships
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or applicable degree demonstrating technical aptitude. Minimum of three months of software development experience. Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.

Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).

The total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
