・Job Title: Experienced Tax Staff (Japanese Bilingual)
・Client: Accounting Firm
・Working Location: Remote or San Jose 
・Working Style: Mostly remote
・Employment Type: Non-Exempt (Overtime paid after 40 Hours/ week)
・Salary: $30– $38/ per hour (DOE)

▶︎ Key Responsibilities
• Assist partners and managers with both small and large international clients.
• Record transactions in ledgers, prepare trial balances and basic financial statements using accounting software.
• Compute accruals, property and equipment schedules, and calculate depreciation expenses.
• Prepare income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals—including multi-state and consolidated returns.
• Create financial statements by analyzing transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and making journal entry adjustments.
• Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with U.S. federal and state tax laws.
• Work effectively within given budgetary parameters and assist in managing workload priorities.
▶︎ Required Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in tax consulting/compliance within public accounting, focusing on International Tax.
• Experience with international tax forms including but not limited to: 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, and 1118.
• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of total work experience in public accounting or a related occupation.
• Experience preparing individual tax returns.
• Experience filing corporate tax returns for LLCs, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
• Must be fluent in both Japanese and English (bilingual proficiency required).
