Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Mid–Senior Network / Security Engineer
Client: Japanese IT Company
Working Location: New York, NY 10022
Working Style: Hybrid (2–3 days/week onsite)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 (DOE)
Benefit: Standard benefits package
Visa Support: Possible
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (after-hours/weekend incident response may be required; compensatory time off available)
Language: Japanese & English (Bilingual)

▶ Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain IP network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, and switches
  • Configure and support servers, PCs, networks, and telephony hardware/software for customers
  • Perform onsite installation and troubleshooting at client offices and data centers (NY/NJ/CT); occasional business travel required
  • Provide remote and onsite technical support for network and infrastructure environments
  • Manage pre-sales and post-sales technical projects, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors
  • Conduct security assessments and implement tailored network/security solutions
  • Build, operate, and enhance security technologies such as endpoint protection and network security platforms
  • Respond to infrastructure incidents and participate in emergency support when needed
  • Maintain installation records, project documentation, and troubleshooting logs
  • Report project and issue status to project leaders
  • Support proposal and quotation preparation
  • Research products and market trends
  • Support existing customer accounts and ensure high service quality
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams on solution delivery
