Job Description
The Production Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment to produce high-quality products in accordance with company standards. The operator ensures that production targets are met in a timely manner while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and adherence to all safety protocols.
  • Operate Equipment: Run and monitor manufacturing machinery and equipment according to operational standards and production schedules.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Identify potential hazards and participate in safety audits.
  • Maintenance: Conduct basic machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments. Notify the maintenance team of any issues requiring repairs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment performance, and material usage. Complete necessary documentation for reporting purposes.
  • Material Handling: Safely load and unload materials, components, and finished products, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and improvement programs to enhance skills, productivity, and workplace safety.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and meet production goals.

Additional Information
For Kansas, the expected salary for this position is $16/hr. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit- sharing bonus with a target of 10%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
