We are looking for a Design Engineer with a good understanding of engineering design techniques. This role will involve creating 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings and collaborating with customer cross-functional teams.

What You will Do:

  • Focal point for interface coordination with PWC related to GB design
  • You will be interacting with Global teams in Japan and India
  • Coordination, Approvals and Query resolutions
  • Involved in Design and development of Gearbox components
  • Create and modify 3D models, detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software.
  • Ensure designs are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  • Responsible for checking if manufacturing drawings are prepared in accordance with drafting standards(ASME) with particular emphasis on understanding geometric tolerances (GD&T).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality control, suppliers and Project management.
  • Support in project planning and management, task prioritization, risk assessments, and other engineering activities
  • Prepare project presentations, design reports, and technical documentation for internal and customer reviews

What You Will Bring:

  • Business intelligence and leads 
  • Need skill sets and at least 3 years experiences on mechanical design of gearboxes / transmissions. Experiences on Aerospace product design is preferred.
  • The ability to interpret manufacturing drawings prepared in accordance with drafting standards such as ASME is required, with particular emphasis on understanding geometric tolerances (GD&T).
  • Skills in task planning and management, as well as small-scale project planning and management, are required, and at least one year of experience is preferred.
  • English communication skills are required through the execution of the described role.
  • A desire to explore and improve as an engineer.

Pay Range: CA$75,000-CA$90,000 per year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.


Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada J4G 1A1

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
